InFocus is one of the world's leading companies for digital light processing projectors, manufacturing projectors for professional, personal, governmental and educational purposes. The W240 is a projector designed to cover a variety of situations, from business presentations in the office, academic presentations for school reports or feature presentations for a gathering of friends.


The W240 supports 16:9 aspect ratio but projects at a natural 4:3. Brightness modes include a high bright (1700 lumens) and eco (1360 lumens). Compatibilities include VGA (640x480), SVGA (800x600) and XGA (1024x768) data, and NTSC, PAL, SECAM, 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p and 1080i video. Image size ranges from 2.8 feet to 20.7 feet.


Ports for the W240 include one RCA, one VESA and one S-video. There are no ports for USB, DVI or HDMI. Available ports support standard, enhanced and high-definition television, and computer input is accessible through the VGA port. The projector comes with a remote control, as well as a keypad, a 1.0-watt mono speaker and one 3.5mm mini-jack for additional audio.


The projector is 3.98 inches (10.11cm) high, 9.45 inches (24cm) deep and 11.97 (30.4cm) inches wide. It weighs 2.7 Kilogram (2.7kg).
