England is known for its pubs, and drinking a pint of beer after work is an ingrained habit. But in London, wine bars, originally an American concept, are becoming increasingly popular. Wine bars may be restaurants that offer a line of drinks aside from or together with a light meal, or they may be traditional pubs that have branched out into a different kind of drink. An array of wine bars are located near Liverpool Street subway station.
