Microsoft OneNote provides a streamlined tool for taking notes, conducting research and creating projects. Microsoft created the Mathematics Add-In for Word and OneNote to solve equations, plot graphs and simplify math tasks. The tool comes equipped with mathematical symbols and an import option for additional symbols. The add-in supports numerous functions including: trigonometry calculations, matrix operations and statistical computations. Graphing options provide the ability to plot graphs in 2-D or 3-D.
Xiipy Desktop for OneNote
Xiipy analyses OneNote content to create automatic web searches for the most relevant terms. Xiipy toolbars sit on the right side of the notebooks pages and to the lower left of the page, remaining accessible but out of the way. The tool provides a list of links produced by the search and a set of thumbnails for images found. Features also include a tag cloud to display terms found within the document.
Using Microsoft OneNote and add-on tools requires Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.
Installation of .NET Framework 2.0 is also necessary to run the OneNote software.
