Pongo, Perdita, Lucky, Patch, Penny and 96 other Dalmatians are out to stop the dastardly Cruella De Vil from ruining your child's birthday party. If your child is fond of the "101 Dalmatians" films, throw a birthday party using the franchise as the theme for decorations, games and food for all of your guests to enjoy.

Use white paper for the invitations and stamp black spots over the front and back with a round stamper and ink. Use a headline for the invitation such as "Join 101 Guests at a Party to Celebrate Becky's Birthday!" End the invitation with a line such as "RSVP by July 4 or Cruella De Vil Gets Angry." Stamp the envelopes to make the invitations stand out when they arrive in the mail.

The dominant colours for your 101 Dalmatians party should be black and white, much like the dogs themselves. Use white paper plates with black paper cups for food and drinks, while white and black streamers can be hung from the walls. If you have a large white wall in your house, inflate several black balloons with helium and attach them to weighted ribbons of different lengths to turn the wall into a spot to take pictures of the birthday kids.

Print out 101 pictures of Dalmatians and hang them on the walls, place them on tables and anywhere the party guests can explore. Tell the guests at the start of the party that all 101 Dalmatians have gone missing and the guest who collects the most Dalmatian pictures wins a prize. Have a relay race where party guests have to move on their hands and feet like the Dalmatians while racing around an obstacle course. For another game, print three pictures of Dalmatians and then trace the pictures on black construction paper. Cut the black paper into pieces like a puzzle and have the kids race to cover the puppies with the black paper to hide their spots from Cruella De Vil.

For the main food at the party serve mini hot dogs and a variety of dipping sauces such as mustard, ketchup and barbecue sauce. Serve trail mix on the side that includes dark and white chocolate chips, pretzels, cereal and nuts. For dessert, decorate cupcakes with white frosting and sprinkle chocolate chips over them or create a vanilla cake filled with chocolate chips or dotted with chocolate cake mix. Top the cake with chocolate and vanilla sandwich cookies or hand them out to kids to snack on.
