Aviation law is a speciality in the legal field that addresses issues of flight regulation, commercial air travel and business policies. It is often studied in the context of international law or in conjunction with space law. Several schools provide training in aviation law. Graduates are prepared to seek employment in a range of contexts, such as commercial airline companies, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or private law firms.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers a minor program in aviation law that may be taken in conjunction with many of the university's aviation-related degree programs, including aeronautical science, aerospace engineering, air traffic management, aerospace studies and space physics.
