The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) accredits college and university accounting programs. These schools must meet specific standards of education and curriculum to become accredited. ACCA is the largest professional accountancy body in the world. Accounting is a rising profession and is expected to grow by 22 per cent by 2018, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Certified Public Accountants (CPA's) are especially in-demand.
