When it comes to creating a devilish costume you can really get creative. You don't have to limit yourself to just buying a standard devil costume from a costume store; you can piece together your own original devil costume in only a few steps. There are many accessories that can easily turn you into a sinister figure, such as devil horns, make up, capes, pitchforks and just about anything red.

The Devilish Business Man

One way to be a classy devil with style is to wear either a black or red suit. Underneath the suit wear a black dress shirt with a red tie. Next you will want to give yourself a devilish appearance by adding attachable devil horns and make-up, such as black eyeliner on your eyebrows. Other accessories for this outfit include a pitchfork, dark nail polish and eye contacts.

The Demonic Devil

If you want a more evil look, it's not hard to obtain. To get a real demonic persona, use face make-up, body paint and optional fake blood. You can start off by using red body paint to cover your entire torso and any exposed skin; for this look you will want to remove your shirt. Next apply horns, fake blood across your torso and dark make-up around your eyes. You will want to find a long dark cape to wear with this costume as well as a pitchfork. For your lower body, you can wear either a dark pair of trousers or leather style kilt with boots.

The Devil in Disguise

If you want to create a really controversial look you can blend a mixture of a devil costume with a priest's costume. You can do this by purchasing a basic priest costume containing a long black robe with white neck tie. Next you can choose to wear a large upside down cross and add additional small demonic hints to your costume, such as horns, red eye contacts and fake blood. You can also do this look by using a monk's robe costume.

Masquerading Devil

You can make a very interesting devil by using the theme of a masquerade. You can dress traditionally wearing either a black or red tuxedo. Next you can wear a devil-styled eye mask, with elastic band or connected to a stick similar to a traditional masquerade mask. Accessories for this look would include pitchfork, eye make-up and face paint.
