The mobile phone is used to enter cheat codes to spawn vehicles in the Grand Theft Auto IV video game. The Infernus is one of the fastest and most desired vehicles in the game. Unfortunately, there is not a cheat code available to spawn the Infernus. There are several other game strategies and missions available that will spawn the Infernus within the game.
Procedural mission: Street racing
Street races become available after completing the mission "No. 1" with Brucie. Street races offer one of the best opportunities to obtain the Infernus early in the game by stealing it from one of the race competitors prior to the beginning of the race. It may take many races before you encounter an Infernus which you can take. Driving an alternate sports car to the race such as a Banshee or Tourismo will increase the odds of spawning the Infernus when racing.
Procedural mission: Car thefts
Car theft missions become available after completing Brucie's first mission, "No. 1," and Derrick Mcreary's "Smackdown" mission. You will receive a text message on your cell phone from Stevie advising you of the location of a list of vehicles to be stolen and delivered to a chop shop. One of the vehicles on the list is the Infernus, which will spawn in Outlook Park in front of the Pizza Salad restaurant. You can take this car to the parking space at your safe house to save it. When you return to the Pizza Salad restaurant, another Infernus will spawn for you to complete this car theft mission.
Main story mission: "Buoys Ahoy"
The "Buoys Ahoy" mission is available after completing the "Union Drive" mission for Bernie Crane. The mission involves defeating a boat full of Russians on the Humboldt River. Bernie will reward you with a brand-new Infernus after completing this mission.
It is possible that the game environment will spawn an Infernus without playing a mission. This is extremely rare, however driving an alternate racing car in the vicinity of Star Junction or your safehouse in Bohan are two of the best strategies to try. Once you obtain and save an Infernus, the game will begin to spawn the vehicle on a regular basis.
