Written by ChristineL

Teachers work hard every day to help their students learn and grow. You are never too young or old to acknowledge how thankful you are for your teacher. The online magazine, Family Fun explains that Teacher Appreciation Week is a great way to honor your teachers. Show your teacher how appreciative you are for their hard work with one of these fun, easy crafts.

Write a Letter

An easy and heartfelt way to say thank you, letters allow you to share your favorite memories with your teacher. Writing the letter yourself personalizes the gift and shows your teacher just how much they really mean. You can also frame the letter so they can keep the gift and hang it on their wall or near their desk.

Door Decor

Decorating your teacher's door will surely make their day. Use wrapping paper, bows, pictures, favorite sayings, drawings, or magazine cutouts to personalize their door. Make sure you use materials that can be easily removed.

Paint a Memory

Paint a picture of your favorite teacher memory. Think about a time the teacher helped you with a problem or spent extra time assisting you with your classwork. Paint a depiction of your memory and give it to your teacher to show how grateful you are for their support.

Write a Song

Music is a wonderful way to show your appreciation. You can perform the song live or record your song on a CD, allowing your teacher to listen whenever they wish. Think about why you are thankful for your teacher and include those reasons in your lyrics. Don't worry about writing the perfect song; your teacher will love that it comes from you and is made with love.
