Harvard University is a private educational institution in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1636 and has a more than 21,000 students. It has over 10 schools, including Business School, Divinity School, Law School, engineering and medical and graduate schools among others. Some of the Harvard schools require students to have attained a particular average age on admission, while others like Harvard Medical School have no age requirement.

Harvard Law School

As of the publication date, the Harvard Law School had about 1,654 law students. It offers a Master's of Law's (LLM), Doctor of Judicial Science (JD) as well as combined degrees in both LLM and JD. The program takes 18 months to complete. Enrolled students must have about four years of full-time professional experience, making the average age for students 26.

Harvard Kennedy School

The degree programs offered at Harvard Kennedy School include Master of Public Administration and International Development, doctoral degrees, Master of Public Policy and joint and concurrent degrees. Applicants who are directly from their undergraduate degrees are rarely admitted since the admissions Committee mainly prefers applicants who have an average of three to four years of work experience, preferably in developing countries. The average age is around 27.

Harvard Divinity School

Harvard Divinity School offers four degree programs and several nondegree programs. The degree programs are; Master of Divinity, (MDiv) Master of Theological Studies (MTS) Doctor of Theology (ThD) and Master of Theology (ThM). There are about 384 full-time students at the Divinity School. The average age of the student in this school is 26.
