Riddell Revolution offers three types of face masks for Revolution football helmets: S-Bar, G-Bar and C-Bar. While all Revolution face masks are designed to be lightweight for player comfort, each type has its own combination of features tailored to particular ages, positions and skill levels.

The S-Bar collection contains three face masks designed for skill position players: S2EG, S2B and S2BD. The S2EG helmet offers more facial protection around the eyes, with extra vertical bars and one extra horizontal bar. The S2B has the least amount of protection, with a wide space in the eye area. The S2BD face mask has an extra horizontal bar to protect the eye area and an extra vertical bar to protect the mouth area. There are two S-Bar helmets with extra protection in all areas designed for linemen: S3BD and S2BDC. The S2BDC model has slightly less protection in the mouth area and is designed for skill players. Each one of these helmets has the option of an LW type---a lightweight model of the same style. The lightweight model of the S2B helmet is designed for youth players only.

G-Bar helmets have similar options as S-Bar helmets but feature a rounded lower horizontal bar. The G2EG, G2B and G2BD models are all designed for skill players. G2EG offers the most protection, G2B offers the least, and G2BD gives an extra bar for mouth protection. G3BD is designed with extra protection and size for linemen. The G2BDC model is similar to the G2BD model but has a lower bottom bar for more neck protection, and is designed for skill players. Small and lightweight models are also available for some G-Bar helmets for youth and skill players.

C-Bar Revolution helmets are all lightweight, and are all recommended for youth players. The C2BN lightweight mask is designed for youth linemen, with a vertical bar covering the centre of the face mask to prevent footballs from injuring a child's eyes. The C2B model is for youth skill position players, with open space in the eye area for increased vision but extra protection in the mouth area. Each of these models offers a smaller size as well for pee-wee football players.

Where Revolution Face Masks Can Be Used

While each model of Riddell Revolution face masks can be purchased individually, they must be used on Riddell Revolution helmets. S-Bar models fit only on Speed, Speed Classic, Speed Youth and Edge Youth Revolution helmets. G-Bar models can attach to Youth, IQ Youth and IQ HITS Revolution helmets, as well as a traditional Revolution helmet. C-Bar models fit only on Youth and Attack Revolution helmets.
