Many iconic figures in history and pop culture wore the classic bob hairstyle. A bob wig flatters most any shaped face, making this a versatile addition to several different Halloween costumes. Add a few costume and make-up details and you can have a fabulous Halloween costume.

Mia Wallace

Mia Wallace is the iconic character from "Pulp Fiction" who has inspired people to dress up as her for Halloween. Hers is an easily fashioned costume. Most of her scenes in the movie she either wore a white button-down dress shirt with black slacks and black blazer, or a tight, black cocktail dress. To finish the costume, wear a black bob wig with heavy fringe. Mia's hair ended in a slight under curl at just under the jaw line.

In the 1920s, the flappers were a new breed of women who were trying to escape the confines of the traditions of the era. They typically wore bobbed hairstyles, extra make-up and short, fringed dresses. They smoked, often using a cigarette holder, and often wore long strings of pearls. The bobbed wig can be any colour, with or without fringe, and typically ending at the jaw line. A flapper often wore a hat, headband or feathers in her hair.

Japanese Schoolgirl

Many schoolgirls in Japan wear their hair in a bob hairstyle. People in the United States often copy the stereotypical Japanese schoolgirl look as a costume. To dress as a Japanese schoolgirl, wear a dark, pleated skirt paired with a simple white shirt. Depending on the requirements of the school, the girls wear either white or black socks with either white or black plain, Mary Jane shoes. The socks need not match the shoes. To finish the look, wear a black bobbed wig that falls under the chin with fringe.

Lada Gaga

Singer-songwriter Lady Gaga is an enigma when it comes to style. She is the master of many varied guises, and for a while sported a platinum blonde bob with fringe. The iconic outfit she wore on stage with the blonde bob was the bubble outfit, but you can pair the blonde wig with any outlandish outfit and large sunglasses and pull it off as a Lady Gaga Halloween costume. She also paired the blonde bob with a frilly, cream hot trousers outfit and an extremely long see-through purple dress with black fringing that resembled black hair on top.
