Everyone has a favourite Disney character, and a baby's room is ideal for a Disney-themed room. Some memorable characters to decorate a nursery around include Snow White, Bambi, Dumbo, Mickey Mouse, Pinocchio and Tinkerbell. Make the crib the focal point with Disney character bedding and a coordinating mobile. Use wall art prints or stickers on the walls, and add plush toys based on the characters of your choice.

101 Dalmations Theme

Plan a black and white polka dot theme with the characters from the movie 101 Dalmations for the nursery. You can purchase wall art prints such as the Daddy dog with one of the pups or a lamp and shade with adorable Dalmation pups on it. Add a Gund cosy Dalmation blanket, and use bedding with either Dalmation pups on it or with black and white polka dots. You can also get Dalmation puppy wall stickers.

Winnie the Pooh Baby Room

Decorate your little one's room with a Winnie the Pooh theme. You can get bedding, wall hangings, curtains, art prints and wallpaper and borders all with the lovable characters from the story of Winne the Pooh. Include Winnie's friends Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet. Put plush toy replicas of the characters in your baby's crib or hang a colourful, musical Winnie the Pooh mobile above to baby's delight.

Cinderella Theme

Picture lots of pink and a princess theme to create your little baby girl's Cinderella nursery. Place a white or pink canopy valance above her crib. Decorate a wall with a Cinderella carriage mural. Feature a castle dollhouse in the room, and display little princess dresses. Use a Cinderella fairy tale princess crib quilt and bedding set to make the crib a darling focal point.

Peter Pan Theme

Little boys love Peter pan, so a Peter Pan themed nursery is ideal for a baby boy. Feature images of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys around the room, and don't forget some pirates as long as they are not scary looking. A multitude of Peter Pan posters and prints are available to decorate the walls. Top off the nursery with a Peter Pan flight wall clock that depicts Peter flying with Wendy.
