Scooby-Doo is a cartoon Great Dane that first appeared in "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" in which he solved mysteries with his colleagues Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne. The show began in 1967 and ran in different forms for 17 years, and now can be seen in reruns on the Cartoon Network. If you are a big fan of Scooby-Doo, you might be interested in getting a tattoo of him.

Scooby-Doo Name

Tattoos sometimes are graphical images that represent something recognisable, such as a person's face, a flower or an anchor. They can also consist of abstract patterns or symbols, such as a star or a lightning bolt. Many people get text tattoos, such as the name of a girlfriend, a motto or a slogan. You could tattoo the name Scooby-Doo on your body, or the title of his first cartoon show, "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?"

Scooby-Doo Head

Get a tattoo of Scooby-Doo's head by itself, or with one of the many spooky characters he came across during his adventures. You might want to depict him with a wide, toothy grin, or with his mouth open in joy and his tongue clearly visible. Another approach is to depict Scooby-Doo with an angry expression on his face, or confused while trying to solve a perplexing mystery, or frightened from being confronted by one of the characters that tormented him and the gang, such as a spooky ghost, Frankenstein's monster, a vampire or werewolf.

Full Scooby-Doo Body

Depict Scooby-Doo's entire body in an action pose, such as leaping or standing upright with his front paws raised to repel a bad guy. Scooby-Doo often ran away from scary monsters, or toward the scene of a mystery along with the gang, so you might want to get a tattoo of him in an athletic running pose. If you have a fairly relaxed and easy-going personality, you could get a tattoo of Scooby-Doo sleeping or resting comfortably.

Scooby-Doo with the Gang

Have someone make a tattoo on you that shows Scooby-Doo in a group pose. He could be the centre of attention, with Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Fred surrounding him and looking at his face. This could be a posed image with all of their faces looking straight ahead, or seated at a table looking at a book as they try to solve a mystery. You might want to show the gang in action, or show them sitting in their van, dubbed the Mystery Machine.
