It is also filled with antioxidants and claims to support overall good health. There are a few ingredients in Silk Pure Almond Milk and all are natural.
The almonds used in the product are grown in the United States. All are whole, natural and slightly roasted, then ground to create almond butter. Almonds provide vitamin E, fibre and high protein. They are low in saturated fat and cholesterol-free.
Natural Sweeteners & Flavorings
To sweeten the milk, naturally evaporated cane juice is used. It is created by pressing the juice out of sugar cane stalks and evaporated to form sugar crystals. They are milled one time for texture.
Filtered water is used to blend with the almond butter to create a milky texture. The use of filtered water allows less contaminants to be passed through to the product.
Vitamins & Minerals
All vitamins used in Silk products are derived from vegetables, not animals. The mineral limestone is what provides the milk with calcium. The milk includes vitamins A, D, E and B12 and minerals such as zinc, copper, magnesium, iron, calcium, manganese and riboflavin.
