Cruising longboards are a type of skateboard that is specially suited for skating hills, sidewalks and car parks. A relaxed cruising style of skating is most common when using these types of boards. Cruising longboards are unsuitable for attempting the tricks associated with the smaller conventional skateboard, such as grinding rails and riding ramps, for example. Cruising skateboards are designed for carving and general transportation and have become increasingly popular in recent years. There are a number different shapes and sizes of cruising longboards available to buy. Cruising longboard manufacturers are continually researching and developing new ways of improving their cruising longboards so they can offer the best possible product to skaters.
