An Internet fax service allows you to send and in most cases receive faxes using the service's website or your e-mail account. You can send faxes to any fax machine or fax number using an Internet fax service. These services offer an effective, efficient method to send a low or high volume of faxes. How to Use
To use fax services, sign in to the fax service's website. Click the "Send a Fax" option and enter the phone number, including the area code, that you want to send the fax to. Upload your fax as a PDF, Microsoft Word or JPG file and click the "Send" button. The fax service will send you a confirmation e-mail once the fax is successfully transmitted. Alternatively, most fax services offer an e-mail option. To use the email option, attach a PDF, Microsoft Word or JPG file to your e-mail. In the "send to" line of your e-mail, type the 10-digit fax number you want to send the fax to, plus the domain name of the fax service. For example, to send a fax by e-mail with My Fax, you would send the email to "firstname.lastname@example.org."
