Christian word games, puzzles and online interactive games are tools to engage children in learning while having fun. Word games and puzzles reinforce Bible terms and important Biblical names while trivia games teach children Biblical facts and concepts. Some websites offer free online Christian-based games for children to play and free printable games that you can reproduce and use in classes or services.

Bible Word Games for Kids

The Bible Word Games for Kids website features free printable word search and crossword puzzle games designed for children. You can download the images to your computer and print as many as you need at any time. The games include topics such as "The Book of Genesis," "Adam and Eve," "Birth of Jesus" and "Resurrection of Jesus Christ."

Big Light Games

The Big Light Games website features many child-friendly interactive games that children can play directly in an Internet browser. The site offers a section for Christian-themed games specifically. "Old Testament" is an online word find game while "Noah's Memory Mixup" is a card memory game in which children match up the pairs of animals on Noah's ark. The site also offers online jigsaw puzzle games of "The Last Supper" and "Jesus Praying."

Cross Daily

The Cross Daily website provides family-friendly Christian games and trivia. Children can play and learn from trivia games such as "Bible Challenge," "Who Wants to be a Saintly Millionaire?" or "General Bible Trivia." The site also features a free online word search which children can rescramble to play many times. You may need to sign up for a free account to play some of the trivia games.


Children can play interactive games on the Quia website. Games include online word searches, word jumbles and hangman games. Children can also play trivia games such as "Bible Battleship," "Bible Millionaire" and "Bible Jeopardy." "Apostle, King, or Prophet," "Ten Commandments" and "Creation" are among games that require children to match topics or put items in order.
