The traditional 10th wedding anniversary material is tin. Tin is not a popular material in modern times and therefore finding tin gifts is a little harder. However, with a growing market for gifts being given on every anniversary, specialist websites have devoted themselves to providing gifts and gift ideas for every anniversary and celebration possible. Tin gifts can be beautiful and there will be something out there to suit your spouse's tastes.

Tin or Pewter Jewelry

Give your spouse tin or pewter (pewter is between 85 to 99 per cent tin) jewellery. A necklace with a heart that has been engraved with the anniversary or wedding date for a woman and tin or pewter cuff links for a man would make a good traditional anniversary gift. If these are not to your taste, consider tin earrings, bracelets or bangles or even a Celtic cross.

Tin Photo Frame

A tin photo frame with a picture from your wedding, honeymoon or just a day that has been special in your marriage would be a wonderful reminder of your married life together. Tin photo frames come in many designs, so it should be easy to find one that suits you or your spouse's tastes. There are even tin photo frames that have "10" engraved on them to mark the special day.

Tin of Chocolates

If your spouse loves chocolate, buy the best chocolates you can find in a beautiful tin. Look for handmade Belgian chocolates for the ultimate in luxury. If your spouse doesn't like chocolate, you could go for a tin of candy, biscuits or even tea or coffee.

Tin Paperweight or Bookmark

If your spouse loves her office, a paperweight made from tin and beautifully decorated could be the answer. Paperweights come in many designs; you could even have one in the shape of a heart. If you want something extra special, have a paperweight made especially for the occasion. If your sweetheart loves to read, a tin bookmark could be a really special gift; engrave it with the date of the anniversary as a gentle reminder every time he opens his current book.
