There are many types of elevators ranging in size, usage and installation. Even though elevators are more commonly found in public facilities, one may also find elevators in the home. These residential elevators have a place for the disabled or the elderly or the wealthy homeowner. Elevators can be installed with a single front entrance or with an additional side or back entrance supplement. From the smallest utility dumbwaiter to wide freight elevators, one can find the dimensions for the elevator doors.
