The LS and VTEC engines are both part of Honda's B-series engines. Many people consider the LS engine to be a version of the VTEC engine. The VTEC is used on vehicles such as the Honda Accord, Civic and CRV. The LS engine was used on the Acura Integra from 1990 to 2001 (Honda is the parent company of Acura). LS and VTEC engines are available on the JDM engine aftermarket. Any installation, modifications, or upgrades should be done by a professional.
