How to get to the British Consulate-General in Sao Paulo from Jardins

If you are staying in Jardins, getting to the British Consulate-General is very easy. You just need to get yourself to Avenida Rebouças and find the stop for line 8700-10, heading to Terminal Campo Limpo. The bus will cross Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima through an underpass. Avenida Rebouças will then change names to Avenida Eusébio Matoso. You should step off the bus at the interesection of Eusebio Matoso and Rua Jorge Rizzo. Take Rua Jorge Rizzo to the north. Keep to you right and keep walking on Rua Professor Carlos Reis, which will then turn into Rua Butanta. Keep to your left and keep walking on Rua Padre Carvalho, then turn left on Rua Pais Leme, then right again on Rua Ferreira de Araujo. You should find the Consulate-General on the right hand side, about 350 metres from that last turn.

How to get to the British Consulate-General in Sao Paulo from Jardins

If, on the other hand, you are staying in Praça da República, the fastest way to get to the British Consulate-General is to take the L4 Metrô. You should go to the Republica Metrô station, located at the intersection of Avenida Ipiranga and Avenida São Luis. You should board the train heading to Butanta and step off after two stops, on Faria Lima station. Once you are above ground again, you should walk along Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima, and take a left on Rua Cristovao Gonçalves. Take a left on Rua Fernao Dias, and a right again on Rua Sumidouro. On Rua Ferreira de Araujo, take a right again. You should find the General-Consulate on the right, after walking abut 100 metres.

How to get to the British Consulate-General in Sao Paulo from the airport

Getting to the Consulate-General from Garulhos International Airport will take you a while, and there's no way around that. Although you could make the trip on a regular metropolitan bus, we recommend using the Airport Bus Service, since you can take it at the airport itself. You can check the schedules here: http://www.airportbusservice.com.br/en/linhas. The best alternative is to board the line from Garulhos International Airport to Praça da República, and follow the instructions on the previous paragraph to navigate the city once you've reached the Republica Metrô station.
