Chrome is a Web browser produced by Google. Like other browsers, Chrome allows users to easily import and export their bookmarks. Exporting your Chrome bookmarks creates an HTML file that can be used to transfer your bookmarks to another browser or computer; this file can also simply be used as a backup. Producing an HTML file from your Chrome bookmarks is simple and only takes a moment.

    Open the Google Chrome Web browser.

    Click the wrench icon in the upper right corner of the browser. Select "Bookmark Manager."

    Click "Organize" and then select "Export Bookmarks."

    Designate where you wish to save the HTML file. Click "Save"; an HTML file containing all your Chrome bookmarks is created. This file can be used to import the bookmarks into another browser or another instance of Google Chrome.
