One of the features of the social networking site Facebook allows you to share things with your online friends -- the wall post. You can send someone a message or add something to his wall. The wall post options let you add pictures, videos, messages or links to friends' walls, as long as their privacy settings are set up to allow wall posts from others.

Sign in to Facebook. Click on "Profile." Click "Friends" on the left sidebar to bring up your list of friends.
Click on the friend whose wall you want to upload a video or photo to.
Click on "Photo" or "Video" on the top of the person's wall.
Click on "Choose File" to select the item you want to upload. Click on the item and then click "Open."
Type a caption or message in the "Say Something About this Photo/Video" box. Click on "Share" to post the item to the person's wall.

Sign in to Facebook and visit the person's profile.
Type on "Post" if you want to post a message to the person's wall. Type the message and click "Share."
Click "Link" if you want to add a link to the person's wall. Paste the link and type something in the "Say Something" box, if desired. Click on "Share."
