The process of creating Flash content in Swishmax is fairly straightforward and does not require that you know how to do script actions. Instructions

  1. 1

Click on the desktop shortcut to start Swishmax. In the opening dialogue, click "Default."

  2. 2

Select the stage (canvas) and then go to the "Properties" panel on the upper right. Enter the width and height that you want for your slideshow page.

  3. 3

Select "Insert" from the menu and choose "Import Image." In the dialogue, locate the images you want in the slideshow, hold down the "CTRL" key to select the ones you want and click "Open."

  4. 4

You will see the images all appear in their own layers in the timeline at the top. Go to the timeline and move the images in the timeline so that they are staggered one after the other. This way, when one image ends, the next one begins.

  5. 5

Select "File" from the menu and choose "Export." From the options, choose "Projector EXE." In the dialogue box that opens, name the file and choose the location to save to. Click "Save" and the SWF file will be created.
