How to Put Multiple Videos on One Screen Using Windows Movie Maker

Updated February 21, 2017

Windows Movie Maker is movie making and editing software that's included for free with Microsoft Windows XP and Vista. You can add audio, effects and transitions to videos. Videos often consist of multiple clips taken at different events at different times. You have the option to combine multiple videos into one and view them on the screen at once using Windows Movie Maker.

Click the Windows orb, "All Programs" and then click "Windows Movie Maker."

Click "Videos" under "Import" in the "Tasks" pane.

Click the video you wish to add to your screen and click the "Import" button. Do this for each video you wish to add. The videos are added to the "Imported Media" area.

Click and drag each video from the "Imported Media" window to the timeline located at the bottom of the screen.

Click the video clips and click the play button in the preview pane on the right to view them on the screen.
