Yahoo! Mail Classic automatically saves e-mails in progress so that you won't lose them during an unexpected connection interruption or power outage. Rely on the email application's auto-save feature as a means of recovering any Yahoo! e-mail that you spent time composing. As long as you worked on the unsaved e-mail for long enough for Yahoo! to auto-save it, you should be able to recover it from within the "Drafts" folder. Yahoo! Mail's auto-save feature places a copy of your work inside the "Drafts" folder within approximately two minutes of the moment when you began to compose the email.
