"Ragnarok Online" is an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) featuring an extensive class system. There are more than 40 job classes to choose from. One example of a job class is the Ranger. A Ranger excels at using traps to damage opponents from a distance. As well as traps, a Ranger is able to command a wolf, known as a Warg. The Warg aids the Ranger in battle by inflicting damage on opponents. When not engaged in battle, a Ranger may also mount the Warg and use him to travel quicker across maps.

Instructions

  1. 1

Train a Hunter or Sniper to base level 99 and job level 50. To become a Ranger, the only character available to control a Warg, you will need to level your Hunter or Sniper to the maximum level.

  2. 2

Visit Alberta and speak to the "Turtle Grandpa." He is located inside of the Alberta Inn. The Alberta Inn is a building in the upper-left portion of the town. Ask the "Turtle Grandpa" about "Turtle Island." Visit "Gotanblue," located on the docks (coordinates 247,123). Ask him to send you to "Turtle Island." You will be required to pay 10,000 zeny to be sent to "Turtle Island."

  3. 3

Change your job into a Ranger. Speak to the "Survival Instructor" (coordinates 156, 46) and inform him you wish to become a Ranger. Follow his directions to complete the job change quest. Once you have completed the quest, he will change your character into a Ranger.

  4. 4

Defeat monsters until you reach job level 2 as a Ranger.

  5. 5

Open your skills menu by pressing "CTRL" + "S" on your keyboard. Click the "Ranger" tab. Place one job point into the "Warg Mastery" by clicking on the arrow next to the skill.

  6. 6

Double-click the "Warg Mastery" skill. This will summon a Warg to your character's side.
