How to Set iPhone Icons to Transparent

Clear Icons is a free custom modification available for your jailbroken iPhone through the Cydia application store. Clear Icons modifies the code on your iPhone to display transparent icons. The Clear Icons application requires the WinterBoard modification tool to function properly. You can also download the free WinterBoard application from the Cydia application.

    Tap the "Cydia" icon on your iPhone.

    Tap the "Select" button and enter "WinterBoard" in the search bar. Select the "WinterBoard" application.

    Tap the "Install" button and select the "Confirm" application.

  4. 4

    Tap the "Reboot" button to load the WinterBoard modification tool on the home screen of your iPhone.

    Tap the "Cydia" icon on your iPhone.

  6. 6

    Tap "Search" and enter "Clear Icons" in the search bar.

  7. 7

    Select the "Clear Icons" application.

  8. 8

    Tap the "Install" button.

    Tap the "Confirm" button to install the Clear Icons modification on your iPhone.

    Tap the "Settings" icon on your iPhone.

    Scroll down and select the "WinterBoard" option.

    Tap "Select Themes" and select the "Clear Icons" option.

    Tap the "WinterBoard" button and select the "Respring" option to reboot your iPhone and set your iPhone's icons to transparent.
