The Samsung SGH-U900 is a compact cell phone with a front screen that retracts to reveal a keypad. It comes with features common to most mobile phones, such as a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card. This card stores the service provider information. If you want to use your SGH-U900 with a different service provider, you will have to change the SIM card. To do this, you will need to unlock the phone. There are websites that will generate unlock codes for a fee.
