How to Change Regions in Fraps

Updated February 21, 2017

Fraps is a computer program designed to take video of the computer screen. Many people use this program to create video tutorials of difficult-to-understand software programs; others use it to record video games. One of the features in Fraps is the region-capturing feature. If you only want to record one corner of the video screen, Fraps' region-capturing feature will do so.

Open Fraps up.

Click the "FPS" tab.

Move the mouse cursor over the "Overlay Corner" box.

Click the corner that you want to record. This allows Fraps to only record that corner of the screen. You do not have to save this option as it is already done as well.
