Microsoft Outlook is an e-mail platform used primarily by medium and large businesses. Because of the proprietary design of Outlook, integrating third-party software with the email client can be a difficult task. SugarCRM is a management tool for sales professionals that assists in customer relations for earning new business and maintaining current clients. If you want to use SugarCRM in combination with Outlook, you will need to purchase the Sugar plugin for Outlook.

Instructions

    Launch Microsoft Outlook and sign in to your account.

  2. 2

    Select "Contacts" to open your list of current customers and other business contacts.

  3. 3

    Press "Ctrl+A" to highlight all contacts. Deselect the contacts you do not want to import by clicking on them while holding "Ctrl."

    Create a folder named "Import to SugarCRM" and save the highlighted contacts to VCF format in the folder.

    Launch SugarCRM and sign in to your account.

  6. 6

    Click the "Contacts" tab and choose "Create Contact from vCard."

  7. 7

    Go to the folder "Import to SugarCRM," highlight the contacts and press "Import vCard."
