If you want to be a vampire for Halloween, then you'll need a set of vampire bite marks. Since vampires have to be bitten to be converted, a vampire costume would be incomplete without vampire marks. They can seem a little daunting to make at first, but you only need a few supplies and a little bit of time to make your own vampire marks.

Skill level:

Things you need

  • Black liner pencil
  • Cotton swabs
  • Red lipstick
  • Purple eyeshadow
  • Fake blood

  1. 1

Draw two 1/4-inch diameter puncture marks on your neck with the black pencil. They should be about an inch or less apart from each other.

  2. 2

Take a cotton swab and put red lipstick on it. Rub the lipstick around and in the puncture wounds. This is mainly what gives the vampire marks a bloody look.

  3. 3

Place a deep shade of purple eyeshadow around the puncture marks. This makes the puncture marks look like they're bruised, adding a little more realism to the vampire bite marks.

  4. 4

Squirt a couple drops of fake blood on your puncture marks to make it appear as if they're still bleeding.
