The Groups feature on Facebook allows users to create virtual meeting places for Facebook members sharing the same interests. One of the responsibilities of a group administrator or manager is monitoring members' posts. If you notice that a member repeatedly spams your group's wall or posts inappropriate or illegal content, you may wish to block that member. Blocking someone means they will no longer be able to access the group or post on its wall.

Log in to Facebook using your group administrator e-mail address and password; you will not be able to block a member unless signed in as an admin.
Navigate to the group page by typing its name in the search box at the top of the page and clicking its name from the list that appears.
Scroll down the group's wall until you see a post from the group member you wish to block.
Click on the small icon at the top right corner of the post. A menu of several options appears.
Click on "Remove Post and Ban User." A dialogue box appears, asking you to confirm that you wish to permanently ban the user from the group.
Click "Remove Post and Ban User" again to confirm your selection.
Tips and warnings
- If a member has spammed your wall or posted inappropriate content only once, you may not want to permanently block them. In this case, select the "Remove Post" option instead of "Remove Post and Ban User." While the post will no longer appear on the Wall, the author will remain a member of the group and retain posting permissions.
