Visual Boy Advance is a video games emulator that allows you to play Game Boy Advance games on your computer known as "roms." However, you can only use the emulator to play GBA roms if you actually own a physical copy of the game. If you do not own the physical copy then playing a ROM is illegal. When playing a ROM on Visual Boy Advance you can use the frame skip feature to slow down the game. This will allow you to carry out tasks on the game that may be too quick for you.
Open up the Visual Boy Advance emulator on your computer.
Click on "File" and then "Open." Select the ROM game you would like to play and click on "Open."
Click on "Options" and select "Frame Skip" from the drop-down menu. The default setting for frame skip is "2."
Click on either "1" or "0" from the drop-down menu. This will significantly slow down the speed of your game.
