How to Post Pictures on Facebook Without Them Showing on the Live Feed

When you upload photos to Facebook, you can choose whether the uploaded photos are published to your Wall or not, as long as you upload them directly to an album from the "Photos" page. Uploading a photo directly from your Facebook Wall automatically creates a post that's visible in your friends' news feeds.

Instructions

    Sign into Facebook. Click "Profile," then "Photos."

  2. 2

    Click the photo album to which you want to add photos. Click "Add Photos," then click "Select Photos."

    Choose the photo(s) from your computer you want to upload. To select multiple pictures, hold "Ctrl" while clicking on the photos.

  4. 4

    Click "Save Changes."

  5. 5

    Click "Skip" when you see the following prompt: "You have uploaded photos which have not yet been published to your profile wall or News Feed." This prevents the photos from being added to your Wall.
