By default, syncing occurs automatically through iTunes when your iPhone and computer are connected. You can also download contacts from Microsoft Exchange, Google, Yahoo! or AOL. When you set on any one of those accounts, syncing is pushed over the air automatically. Make all of the contacts more easily accessible, anytime, anywhere.

    Set Up MobileMe Account

    Download the "Find My iPhone" application from the App store and then turn the feature on.

    Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" from Settings and then tap "Add Account." If you would rather set up a "Microsoft Exchange Account," stop here and go to "Set up a Microsoft Exchange Account." If you would want to sync "Google," Yahoo!" or "AOL" accounts, go to "Add Google, Yahoo! and AOL Accounts."

    Tap "MobileMe" and then enter your Apple ID and password. Alternately, you can tap "Create Free Apple ID" instead of entering your Apple ID and password.

    Follow the on-screen instructions and if prompted, verify your e-mail address.

    Set Up Microsoft Exchange Account

    Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" from Settings and then tap "Add Account."

    Tap "Add Account," tap "Microsoft Exchange" and enter your e-mail address, username and password. Enter a description for the account. Change your passcode after you connect to the Microsoft Exchange server, if prompted.

    Tap the contacts, mail and calendars you want to use on your iPhone and then enter the number of days you want to sync.

    Add Google, Yahoo! And AOL Accounts

    Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" from Settings and then tap "Add Account."

    Enter your name, e-mail address and password. Enter a description for the account.
