How to Take Off the Base of My Toshiba Regza

Updated February 21, 2017

Toshiba Regza flat-screen televisions come in a wide range of sizes. Each model is capable of being mounted on a base stand or on the wall using a wall mount kit. If the Regza television is being moved to a wall mount position, the base must first be removed. The base can be replaced onto the bottom of the unit at any time if the television is moved off the wall.

Lay the Toshiba Regza television face down on a flat, soft surface. Position the unit so the base is hanging over the edge of the surface the television is lying on.

Remove the four screws near the bottom of the television that are holding the base in place.

Slide the base away from the television to completely remove it from the unit.
