A pole spear is a fishing tool used to spear fish underwater. While some fishing spears are propelled by power slings and even pneumatic guns, the pole spear is a single entity that consists of a spear and a rubber loop at the end of it. You can purchase pole spears at fishing stores, but you can also make one yourself, starting with a fibreglass arrow.
