Windows Live Hotmail allows you to send and receive e-mail messages for school, work or personal purposes. Hotmail usually works the way you want it to, but when you have a problem or question, you want to contact someone who can help you. If the Hotmail Frequently Asked Questions page does not solve your problem, it is possible to send an e-mail to the Windows Live Hotmail support staff. You will generally receive a response to your question within 24 hours.

    Open your Internet browser. Scroll down, and click on "Windows Live Hotmail" in the Standard Services box.

    Type your question or problem in the "Search for" box, then click "Search." Click on the topic that most closely matches your issue.

    Click the "Get More Help" link in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Click on "Get Support."

    Fill out the form by describing your problem or asking a question. When you are done, click on "Submit."
