Just like having a cheat code for "Where's Waldo," finding cells with strikethrough in Excel can be made easier using the software's built-in tools. Excel has a built-in "Find" function. The "Find" function searches through the spreadsheet to find all kinds of things, such as "Strikethrough" cells. You do not need to be a computer programmer to use this function. It is very easy to do. With a few taps of the keyboard and mouse, find cells with "Strikethrough."

    Open Microsoft Excel. Hold the "Control" key and press the "F" key on the keyboard. The combination opens the"Find" function.

    Click on the "Format" button in the "Find and Replace" window. Click on the "Fonts" tab.

    Check the "Strikethrough" checkbox in the "Effects" section and click the "OK" button.

    Click the "Find all" button in the "Find and Replace" window.

    Look at the bottom of the "Find and Replace" window. All the cells with "Strikethrough" are listed at the bottom of the window.
