Skype is a free communications software that can use video conferencing, as well as chat and audio with your contacts. Most cameras and webcams are usable in Skype; you just need to check the configuration in Skype's settings. All cameras work the same way in Skype; just point them at what you want to broadcast and make a video call to one of your contacts; and the camera will start streaming automatically.
