How to stream easycap on ustream

The Easycap USB dongle enables your computer to capture audio and video from external sources, using the dongle's coaxial or composite video ports. Ustream enables you to stream any of your computer's content live to the Web. When you combine the your Easycap dongle and Ustream account, you gain the ability to stream media from external audio/video components and share it with your Ustream viewers.

    Download and install a free copy of your Easycap's software driver. Plug the Easycap into a USB port on your computer.

    Connect your audio/video source to your Easycap's video port via the appropriate video cable.

    Download a free copy of Ustream Producer, and install the application (see Resources). Launch Ustream Producer after you've installed it.

    Log into your Ustream account, using Ustream Producer. Type your Ustream credential's in the application's "Username" and "Password" fields, and then click on the "Login" button. Click on the "Sign up" link, if you don't have a Ustream account yet.

    Click on the application's "Settings" button. Click on the "Encoding Preset" menu box in the pop-up menu that appears. Set your broadcast quality from the option in the menu box, and then click "Save."

    Start your audio/video source, and then click on the "Live Input" button. Click "Broadcast" to begin streaming your audio/video source through Easycap and Ustream.
