How to Make Face Disguises
A good face disguise can totally transform you. (Michael Blann/Digital Vision/Getty Images)

Whether you want to walk through a public place unnoticed or trick your friends and relatives, you don't have to be a world-class spy to disguise yourself. When others identify you, they are likely to notice your facial features including your eye colour, teeth, and nose. But if you can learn to temporarily change these things, you'll be on your way to looking like a totally different person.

Skill level:
Moderately Easy

Things you need

  • Foundation make-up
  • Eye liner
  • Contact lenses
  • Faux piercings

  1. 1

Look in the mirror and take note of your most distinct features. Whatever it is that stands out the most on your face is what you'll want to change so others cannot easily identify you.

  2. 2

Transform your skin colour by putting on foundation make-up just a few shades darker or lighter than your own skin. It's important that you don't try a shade that's drastically different from your own since it might not be a convincing disguise.

  3. 3

Use an eyebrow pencil that's a couple shades darker than your fake skin tone to create freckles, a scar, or a mole. These tiny attributes should be barely noticeable from a distance.

  4. 4

Change the colour of your eyes by inserting coloured contact lenses. Like the other portions of your disguise, the colour should be believable.

  5. 5

Place faux piercings in your nose, lip, ears or any other place that you don't normally wear them. Use these to take the attention away from your defining features. Instead of overdoing it, limit the faux piercings to one place on your face. Overall, you don't want it to look like you're wearing a costume.
