Updated July 20, 2017

Your Philips Blu-ray player has the capability to stream content directly from the Internet via a wireless connection. Connect the Blu-ray to the wireless network in your home or office to unlock the online functions of the device. Once the player joins your network, you can stream content from a website or from the other computers on the network directly to the device.

Turn on the Blu-ray player and press the "Home" button on the player's remote.

Highlight the "Settings" option and press "Enter." Open the "Advanced Settings" menu and highlight "Network Connection." Press "Enter," scroll to the "Enable (Wireless)" option and press "Enter." Highlight "Wireless Router" and press "Enter."

Scroll to the "Find Wireless Network" option and press "Enter" to scan for the available wireless networks. Scroll to the name of your wireless network and press "Enter." Highlight the "Security Type" option for your network and press "Enter." Use the keyboard that appears to enter the password for your network and highlight the "OK" button.

Press "Enter" and press "Enter" again to connect the Blu-ray player to your wireless network.
