Sony created the Bravia Internet Video Link so that you can stream videos and music on demand from the Internet to your Bravia television. An Ethernet connection is needed to access the Bravia Internet Video Link. In addition, you can receive updates to your Bravia television through your Ethernet connection. An Ethernet cable and a router are needed to connect your Sony Bravia television to the Internet.

Skill level:

  1. 1

Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the "LAN" or "LAN (10/100)" port, depending on how it is labelled, located on the back of your television along with the other cable ports.

  2. 2

Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your Internet router.

  3. 3

Turn on your Sony Bravia television and press the "Home" button.

  4. 4

Highlight "Settings" using the navigation buttons and then press the centre select button, which is located in the middle of the navigation buttons, to open the "Settings" menu.

  5. 5

Select "Network Connections," "Wired" and "Automatic." Your Bravia will configure the network settings for your television.
