The Dell Optiplex GX 750 is a desktop computer that comes with a tower, keyboard, mouse and power cord. It comes loaded with an Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.4 GHz processor, can support up to four gigabytes of hard drive memory and has an Ethernet port which allows for a DSL or cable Internet connection. Setting up the Optiplex GX 750 is similar to setting up any other Dell desktop computer. Your set up can include multiple monitors if you desire, a keyboard and a mouse and up to eight USB devices.

  1. 1

Place the computer tower standing up on a hard surface. You need to be able to access the back of the tower to plug in the cords.

  2. 2

Plug the end of the purple plug attached to the keyboard into the purple-coloured connection on the back of the desktop tower. Push it all the way in.

  3. 3

Plug the end of the green plug attached to the mouse into the green-coloured connection on the back of the desktop tower.

  4. 4

Insert the blue end of the monitor cable into the blue plug in the tower. Tighten both screws on the end of the cable by screwing them clockwise. This prevents the cable from falling out. Secure the cable on the back of the monitor.

  5. 5

Plug the power cord into the upper-left corner of the tower. Place the other end into a working electrical socket.

  6. 6

Plug the monitor's power cord into an electrical socket and press the "Power" button on the monitor to turn it on. Press the "Power" button above the silver round "Dell" button to turn on the computer tower.
