When you switch to a new e-mail program you need to move your older e-mails to the new program. If you are switching from Outlook Express, Eudora or QuickMail Pro to Outlook 2007, there is a software bug that makes Outlook unable to import the file type of these programs' e-mail messages, a file type called .eml. There is a "hotfix" for Outlook 2007 that fixes the bug and allows you to import .eml files. Before downloading the hotfix, check to see if your version of Outlook already has the update and will import the files using its Import Wizard.
