How to use the liquify filter to make yourself look thinner
It's easy to alter your photos to make yourself look thinner. (Hemera Technologies/ Images)

Adobe Photoshop is known as the best graphics editing software. It's capable of a wide vary of visual effects to digital pictures and can even be used to make yourself look thinner in a photo. Using Photoshop's liquefy filter, you can make your face, waistline or any body part appear thinner with a few clicks of your mouse.

Skill level:
Moderately Easy

  1. 1

Open Photoshop and the picture you want to edit.

  2. 2

Select "Filter" on the top navigation menu and click "Liquify."

  3. 3

    Click the "Forward Warp" tool.

  4. 4

Put the crosshair at the very left edge of the part you want to thin, whether your face, hips, thighs or waist. Push the crosshair slowly toward the centre of your body. The pixels drag themselves inward, effectively creating a slimmer look.

  5. 5

Repeat Step 3 on the right side of the place you thinned to make the image symmetrical.

  6. 6

Save your image by pressing CTRL+S if you're using a PC, or command+S if you're using a Mac.
