A Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter allows you to connect your MacBook Pro laptop to an HDMI cable and display images and video from your MacBook Pro on any television or monitor with an HDMI input. By default, audio from your MacBook Pro will also output through the Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter. However, you can disable the audio through your MacBook Pro's system preferences.
